Measure – Percentage of children and young people re-reported at ROSH within 12 months of closure plan

Description

This refers to the percentage of children and young people who were re-reported at ROSH at any time in the following 12 months of having a case plan closure with goal achieved.

The denominator is the total number of children and young people with a face-to-face assessment completed and plan closed with case plan goal achieved in the 12 month period ending on 30 June the previous year.

For example, of the children and young people who had a face-to-face assessment completed and plan closed with case plan goal achieved in the period 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2017,41.5% were reported in the following 12 months since their case plan closure.

Description

The numbers refer to the total number of children and young people involved in ROSH reports by the highest level of child protection assessment received during the year.

The percentage figures refer to the total number of children and young people involved in ROSH reports by the highest level of child protection assessment received during the year as a percentage of the total number of children and young people involved in ROSH reports during the year.

It should be noted that this graph only looks at assessment work undertaken for ROSH matters.  Those office-based reports closed due to competing priorities may receive additional work prior to closure.

Data for non-Aboriginal children and young people also includes children and young people with status not stated.

District reflects where the child/young person's case plan is held at their first ROSH report in the period.
