Measure – Households exiting from public housing and Aboriginal Housing Office properties to private rental market/ownership
- Description
This refers to the total number of households exiting a DCJ managed tenancy who have either secured a property in the private rental market, achieved home ownership or transitioned to affordable housing property in the reporting period.
DCJ managed refers to a public housing property or a property managed by the Aboriginal Housing Office.

Measure – Proportion of unaccompanied young people aged 15-24 years who successfully moved from Specialist Homelessness Services to long term accommodation
- Description
This refers to the percentage of young people aged 15-24 years (with closed support periods) who on presentation to Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) assistance were living in non-independent housing either alone (unaccompanied) or as part of a family unit (accompanied) and subsequently achieved independent housing at the end of SHS support in the reporting period. The denominator is all young people aged 15-24 years (with closed support periods) who on presentation to SHS assistance were living in non-independent housing either alone (unaccompanied) or as part of a family unit (accompanied) in the reporting period.
It measures the proportion of young people aged 15-24 years achieved secure, independent housing on exit from SHS in the reporting period.

- Description
The numbers refer to the total number of households exiting DCJ managed tenancies in the reporting period with any of the following exit reasons:
- Moved to aged care/family support accommodation
- Breach of tenancy contract
- Deceased
- Moved to private rental/ownership/affordable housing
- Tenant imprisoned
- Tenant vacated without notice, or
- Other reasons
DCJ managed refers to a public housing property or a property managed by the Aboriginal Housing Office.
The percentage figures displayed will reflect the breakdown by one or more selected categories.
The data is available broken down by District, Aboriginality, Housing type, Age group, Culturally and linguistically diverse background, Gender and/or Exit reason.
