DCJ is taking a holistic approach to tackling homelessness and the factors that contribute to it.

Homelessness is complex and requires a range of solutions to meet the needs of vulnerable people.

We work across strategy development, service design and planning, and the provision of services.

We fund and support non-government organisations to deliver a range of services, programs and initiatives to support people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless across NSW. This includes young people, families, single men, and women, with or without children, escaping domestic and family violence.

Our services and programs are also focused on reducing the number of people who are homeless or facing unstable accommodation or housing in NSW.

DCJ has established partnerships and initiatives with other government agencies to deliver an integrated service response to tackle homelessness across NSW.
