How to notify and make allegations of serious wrongdoing and misconduct and how we deal with them

Information about how to notify us and make allegations of serious wrongdoing and misconduct about your staff, and other parties that may become engaged to provide services or exercise a function on behalf of DCJ, and how they will be managed.

How we deal with allegations of serious wrongdoing or misconduct

Depending on the assessment, the allegation of serious wrongdoing or misconduct may be handled as follows:

  • If the disclosure meets the criteria for a PID, it will be handled in accordance with the DCJ PID Policy.
  • If the allegation doesn’t meet the criteria for a PID, it will be referred to your contract manager to deal with as a contracting issue or complaint, and may be referred to the appropriate regulatory agency, and/or DCJ’s specialist teams for further assessment and investigation, if required.
