The NSW Department of Family and Community Services (FACS) Strategic Statement published in June 2014, sets out the vision, values and objectives that will guide the work of FACS over the next few years. We are measuring, in a quantifiable way, the progress that we are making each year on achieving these objectives.
The FACS Statistical Report 2014–15 is the second statistical report. The report includes statistics and case studies to demonstrate how we are meeting our objectives.
FACS published its first comprehensive statistical report in September 2015 - the FACS Statistical Report 2013–14.
Our data can be assessed and customised through FACS Statistics under each of our six objectives. Visiting each objective will allow you to see the data and statistics for that area of work. You can select different data options to create your own report.
As this is a work in progress, FACS statistics will have new content included over time and all data will be updated annually. The first quarterly reports for the September quarter, 2015–16 for children and young people and social housing are now also available.
FACS statistics helps us meet our commitment to transparency, accountability and open data sharing with our clients, partners, the media and the NSW public.
For the list of all the available annual statistical reports, refer to the FACS Statistics user guide.
