The flowchart steps out what DCJ does when someone reports a minor and moderate antisocial behavior incident.
  1. We interview all parties.

  2. We investigate.

  3. If we don’t substantiate the incident, we close it.

    Alternatively, if we do substantiate the incident, we confirm whether it’s the first instance in 12 months.

  4. If it’s not the first instance in 12 months, we issue a strike.

    Otherwise, if it is the first instance in 12 months, we ask the tenant to self-refer to an appropriate support provider.

  5. If the tenant does this, and returns their completed referral form to us within 14 days, we issue a warning.

    Alternatively, if the tenant doesn’t return their completed referral form within 14 days, we issue a strike.
