Northern Sydney Homelessness Support Service – Ryde and Upper North Shore (operating as Hornsby/Kuring-gai and Ryde/Hunters Hill Homelessness Service)

This service provides the women’s refuge, Erin’s Place. The service supports single men and women as well as families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, including women and children experiencing domestic and family violence. It provides holistic homelessness responses, including supported crisis and transitional accommodation while homeless people are supported to secure long-term accommodation.

The service will rapidly re-house men, women and families, and, once housed, provide post-crisis support and follow-up to help prevent them becoming homeless again. It also has a strong focus on Aboriginal people, clients with mental health and/or alcohol and other drug issues, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

This service supports: women; men; families
