Monaro Community Access Service
This service supports single young people ages 16 years and over, single men and women ages 25 years and over, and families including couples with or without children, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
It provides early intervention services to avoid homelessness, as well as services of last resort, including access to resources such as food and rough sleeping packs.
Support provided include education, advocacy and referral. Work development orders, living skills programs, financial support and domestic violence support/referral. Assistance and referral for those with mental health, and drug and alcohol issues are also provided.
This service has a strong focus on supporting Aboriginal people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
