Lithgow Homelessness and Housing Support Service

The service supports people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Lithgow and surrounding villages. The target population includes young people; adults; families with or without children, including those escaping domestic and family violence; and Aboriginal people. 

Service responses include crisis and transitional accommodation, including allocation rights for a women and children crisis refuge and transitional properties; prevention and early intervention, including sustaining tenancies at risk; and rapid re-housing. 

The service has a strong focus on responses for Aboriginal young people, women, men and families, and is accessible to people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

This service provides the Lithgow Women and Children’s Crisis Centre.
