Inner West Youth Homelessness Service

This service includes two youth refuges and supports young people aged 16 to 25 years who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Sydney's Inner West.

This multi-purpose youth homelessness service identifies young people at risk early to prevent the escalation of issues leading to their homelessness; supports young people to engage with family, education and training; provides supported crisis and transitional accommodation while young people are assisted to go into long-term housing; provides post-crisis support and follow-up to help keep young people housed; and provides intensive responses for complex needs.

Crisis accommodation is provided at the youth refuges, Don Bosco House and Knight Street.

The service is accessible to Aboriginal people, young people exiting out-of-home care, and young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
