Inner West Family Homelessness Support Service

The service provides safe and supported crisis and transitional accommodation for families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It also provides safe houses for women with children who are escaping domestic and family violence, and helps them to be rapidly re-housed in private rental or social housing. 

The service provides inclusive responses, and clients may include single parents with children, couples with children, and refugees. Once housed, post-crisis follow-up is provided through wrap-around support and the use of brokerage funds.

This service provides the following refuge and crisis accommodation for women with children: 

• Elsie Women’s Refuge 
• Marian Centre.
