Inner City Sydney Homelessness Service (The Salvation Army)

The service delivers a suite of responses consistent with the SHS service delivery framework. It works with young people, women and men, and provides targeted support to Aboriginal people. The service delivers innovative solutions to reduce the drift of people into the inner city, and supports clients in crisis while the capacity of the system to intervene early to prevent homelessness is strengthened.

The service delivers support to chronically homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless, including those who are couch surfing or leaving custody, juvenile justice, out-of-home care or health institutions.

This service provides the following crisis accommodation:

  • Foster House for men
  • Oasis for young people.
