Inner City Rapid Rehousing Response for Women Experiencing Domestic/Family Violence (Restoration)
The Inner City Rapid Rehousing Response for Women Experiencing Domestic/Family Violence (Restoration) (operating as Moving Out Moving On) service supports women in Inner City of Sydney who are experiencing domestic and family violence and are at risk of becoming homelessness, experiencing homelessness, living with friends or family or living in crisis accommodation.
It supports women to access private rental housing, social housing, where they are eligible and a priority. It also works towards obtaining and ultimately sustaining secure and accessible housing to resolve their homelessness crisis. This Service will target women who access services in the Inner City of Sydney and transition them into long-term housing options, within locations outside of the inner city. Women will be provided with post-crisis support where required, as part of their case-management plan.
The service provides ongoing outreach support once a client is safely housed, or ensures the client is being supported by another appropriate service. It provides prevention and early intervention, rapid re-housing and intensive responses for clients with complex needs, and assists Aboriginal women and women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
