Central Coast Youth Homelessness Coordination and Support Service

Central Coast Youth Homelessness Coordination and Support Service (operating as Doorways Central Coast Youth Homelessness Coordination Service) delivers assessment, advocacy, referral and case management for single young people aged 16-25 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

It supports young people experiencing the effects of physical, mental and/or emotional trauma, young people leaving institutional care, those experiencing alcohol and other drug issues.

It links young people to a range of support services and emergency and transitional accommodation, and supports them to access and sustain stable housing.

A key focus is supporting young people to engage with education, training and employment.

This service has a strong focus on responses for Aboriginal young people and is accessible to young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
