Blacktown/Hills Homeless Young Families

Blacktown/Hills Homeless Young Families (trading as Blacktown and Hills Young Families Support) supports young families and young people under the age of 25 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The service ensures clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and Aboriginal young people have access to culturally appropriate support.

Clients may require additional support due to mental health issues, alcohol and other drugs, disabilities, behavioural issues, and leaving Juvenile Justice or out-of-home care.

The service provides prevention and early intervention, and crisis and transitional accommodation with support, and will transition clients out of homelessness to break their cycle of homelessness.
