Aboriginal Women and Children's Crisis Service

This service includes an Aboriginal women's and children's refuge and provides after-hours support. It has crisis and transitional accommodation for Aboriginal women and children, and women with Aboriginal children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to domestic and family violence.  Outreach support services to Aboriginal women with children are also included.

It also provides sector development support for mainstream homelessness service providers to build their capacity for meeting the needs of Aboriginal families. This includes cultural awareness training, collaborative case management/mentoring of staff, early intervention services.

This service provides Domestic Violence Response Enhancement (DVRE) to strength their after hours responses to women in crisis.
