Aboriginal Women and Children’s Crisis Service (formerly Marrickville Women's Refuge)

This service includes an Aboriginal women's and children's refuge and provides support services and crisis accommodation for Aboriginal women and children, and women with Aboriginal children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to domestic and family violence in Sydney's inner west.

Support services include outreach support for clients across the inner west.

It also provides sector development support for mainstream homelessness service providers to build their capacity for meeting the needs of Aboriginal families. This includes cultural awareness training, collaborative case management/mentoring of staff, and early intervention services.
