This paper describes the POCLS two main cohorts of children - those in the ‘Final Orders’ and ‘No Final Orders’ cohorts - and changing legal status overtime to assist analysts interpret the longitudinal data. The ‘Final Orders’ cohort were eligible to participate in the POCLS interviews.
