Inner City Homelessness Prevention and Support Service for Women and Women with Children

The Inner City Homelessness Prevention and Support Service for Women and Women with Children (operating as WAGEC Women & Women with Children) provides support for single women and women with children experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in the Sydney and Inner West area. It also includes women with children experiencing domestic and family violence.  It delivers specialised service responses to women and women with children with complex needs who are experiencing homelessness and are survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

This service will deliver prevention and early intervention; supported crisis and transitional accommodation; rapid rehousing; post crisis support; and intensive responses for clients with complex needs.

This service has a strong focus to Aboriginal women and children and those from culturally or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
