Measure - Actual FTE caseworker numbers

Description

Actual FTE refers to the number of full-time equivalent caseworkers working in a given reference period, excluding those on extended or parental leave or occupying positions funded by specific time-limited funding. Helpline time limited roles are included and caseworkers on temporary secondments to other roles are excluded.

Measure – New funded caseworker positions- funded

Description

The newly funded positions available for caseworkers from the 2017-18 FACS budget.

FACS received additional funding from the 2017-18 State budget to recruit more caseworker positions in FACS Districts, FACS Child Protection Helpline and Join Investigation Response Teams/Investigation Response Team (JIRT/JCPR) in 2017-18 and 2018-19.

From the first quarter of 2018/19, Joint Investigation Response Teams (JIRT) have been renamed as Joint Child Protection Response (JCPR) teams to better reflect the collaborative efforts between FACS, NSW Health and NSW Police to strength the future of the Program.
