The NSW Human Services Outcomes Framework

The NSW Human Services Outcomes Framework sets out the population outcomes the NSW Government seeks to achieve in the delivery of human services.

The cross-agency framework specifies seven wellbeing outcomes for the NSW population: Safety, Home, Economic, Health, Education and Skills, Social and Community, and Empowerment.

The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) is applying the Outcomes Framework across our work. This ensures we are focussed on driving improvement in outcomes that matter for our clients and communities.

Understanding our clients’ needs, building evidence of what works, and measuring our impact, are key elements in applying the Outcomes Framework.
