A circle, with the child at its centre, depicts a cyclical process of continual improvement, by using the QAF.

It includes:

  • Receiving valid and reliable information on child outcomes.
  • Developing a Child Overview report with data from DCJ, Department of Education, and information about wellbeing.
  • Decision making and case planning involving the child or young person, caseworker, carer, education and health professionals, other significant people, and the Child Overview report.
  • Implementing individual activities that address the child’s needs.
