Local Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) Commissioning and Planning teams will be contacting service providers shortly to discuss homelessness services contracts for the 12 month continuation period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. Services being continued include those under the:

  • Specialist Homelessness Services Program
  • Service Support Fund
  • Inner City Restoration
  • Homeless Youth Assistance Program
  • Domestic Violence Response Enhancement
  • Youth Crisis Accommodation Enhancement

The timeline for completing discussions with providers is late March, to allow time for contract documentation sign-off by 31 May and scheduled payment to services on 1 July 2020.

Where it is believed minor adjustment to services are deemed necessary for the 12 month contract continuation period, providers should raise these with their local DCJ Commissioning and Planning team during contract discussions. Requests will be reviewed by DCJ and managed on a case by case basis in consultation with service providers.
