The Sector Development program engages peak organisations, industry bodies and consumer representative bodies to deliver a range of policy,  advocacy and capability building activities that contribute to a capable and sustainable service system.

The program enables DCJ's’ diverse range of stakeholders to participate in policy and service delivery planning, and supports our partnership approach in developing and providing services in the child and family, community, homelessness and housing sectors.

The Sector Development Program Guidelines provide an overview of the program.

A review of the Sector Development program was finalised in early 2020, and as a result the program will be relaunched as the new State Peaks Program from January 2021.
