Caring for carers during COVID-19

The NSW Carers Advisory Council thanks all carers for their continued support in caring for loved ones during COVID-19 (coronavirus). Not only are they caring for someone else, they also need to take care of themselves so they stay safe and healthy.

Sharing messages of support

Members of the Carers Advisory Council are sharing messages of support to over 850,000 carers in NSW who might need information and help during the COVID-19 pandemic.

You are encouraged to share the Council members' messages of support. To do so, visit the Messages of support section and click on a Council member’s image which will take you to a range of images to download and share.

Caring during COVID-19

The NSW Government has the latest COVID-19 news and information to help people protect themselves and others.

The Department of Communities and Justice has developed information and tips for carers during COVID-19.

Support for carers is also available through the Carer Gateway and the Disability Information Helpline.
