The flowchart steps out what DCJ does when someone reports a minor and moderate antisocial behavior incident.
- We interview all parties.
- We investigate.
- If we don’t substantiate the incident, we close it.
Alternatively, if we do substantiate the incident, we confirm whether it’s the first instance in 12 months. - If it’s not the first instance in 12 months, we issue a strike.
Otherwise, if it is the first instance in 12 months, we ask the tenant to self-refer to an appropriate support provider. - If the tenant does this, and returns their completed referral form to us within 14 days, we issue a warning.
Alternatively, if the tenant doesn’t return their completed referral form within 14 days, we issue a strike.
