Sydney District Boarding House Outreach Service

This service targets people living in boarding houses in the Sydney District to address issues where this accommodation is not appropriate for their needs and is putting them at risk of becoming homeless. It helps them to resolve issues with the quality and standard of their accommodation or find alternative housing.

The service provides outreach support to residents of boarding houses through case coordination and wrap-around supports, and by connecting people with complex needs with other specialist support and treatment agencies. It has a strong focus on responses for Aboriginal people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
