Inner City Sydney Homelessness Service (Mission Australia)

This service delivers a suite of responses for young people, women and men, and provides targeted support to Aboriginal people. It delivers support to chronically homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless, including those who are couch surfing or leaving custody, juvenile justice, out-of-home care or health institutions.

The service intervenes early to prevent homelessness, rapidly rehouses people who have become homeless, and provides supported accommodation. It also provides intensive responses for clients with complex needs who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

It delivers innovative solutions to reduce the drift of people into the inner city and support clients in crisis while the capacity of the system to intervene early to prevent homelessness is strengthened.
