Bathurst Homelessness and Housing Support Service for Adults and Families
This service provides the women’s refuge, Bathurst Women and Children's Refuge (BW&C Refuge). The service targets adults and families, including women escaping domestic and family violence who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. It provides early intervention and post-crisis support, and helps clients to access refuges and transitional accommodation. It also supports clients to access long-term secure accommodation and maintain these tenancies.
The service has a strong focus on Aboriginal people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
The service provides 24/7 on-call response for after-hours emergencies.
