Transitional Housing Plus is a new form of transitional housing which provides longer term supported accommodation, linked to training and employment outcomes, for homeless young people, and women with dependant children experiencing domestic and family violence.
The aim of Transitional Housing Plus is to provide housing integrated with support to assist the tenant household to stabilise their lives over a longer tenure period.
The Transitional Housing Plus Policy Guidance Note outlines the policy settings regarding requirements for eligibility and priority, the length of tenancies and the scaled rent setting approach.
This Policy applies to properties funded under the Transitional National Partnership Agreement on Homelessness 2013/2014 Development Fund and any other property identified in a Community Housing Agreement for use as Transitional Housing Plus.
This Policy does not apply to properties funded for use as general transitional housing.
