If you receive a payment from Centrelink and are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless Department of Human Services may be able to help manage your rental payments and provide other assistance.

Start Safely

Start Safely is a subsidy to provide short to medium term financial help to eligible clients who have experienced domestic or family violence so they can secure private rental accommodation and do not have to return to the violent situation.

Staying Home, Leaving Violence (SHLV)

The Staying Home Leaving Violence program aims to prevent homelessness by working with NSW Police to remove the perpetrator from the family home so that women and children can remain safely where they are.
