Women across NSW are set to benefit from a boost to the latest round of the Investing in Women grants program, as the NSW Government doubles the support on offer to $400,000.
Minister for Women Tanya Davies today announced applications are open and urged organisations, with initiatives that promote pathways to leadership and reduce barriers for women entering their chosen fields, to apply.
“While it’s encouraging that we are seeing increasing numbers of women in the workforce, we want to further support gender equity in all industries and at every level,” Mrs Davies said.
Along with double the funding for round six of the program, guidelines have been changed to increase the maximum amount available per grant from $25,000 to $100,000.
“We want this funding to have a renewed focus on supporting proven projects that are sustainable, as well as helping new initiatives come to life,” Mrs Davies said.
