Resolve app for young people leaving care

Resolve is a smartphone app that helps young people who have been in care on their journey to independence. Download it via Windows, Google Play and Apple App store.

This app is a joint project between FACS, CREATE Foundation and the Queensland Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability.

Tailored information at your fingertips

Resolve was built specifically for care leavers and provides original information, advice and links to relevant services for the young people we work with. Just a click away, it has advice about identity, relationships, health, education and employment, finance, housing and accommodation, and living skills.

When Resolve is first opened, users are prompted to enter information about their identity. The app uses this information to intuitively direct users to the most relevant information. For example, by identifying as Aboriginal in Resolve, the young Aboriginal person can access information about specialised housing, employment and financial services.

It has activities and questions to encourage self-reflection.

Young people can also set themselves goals and it reminds them to celebrate when they are achieved.
