Child protection caseworkers support children, young people, families and communities in varied and challenging circumstances. They receive and assess reports of alleged child abuse and neglect from the community. Working for FACS they are empowered to investigate the safety and wellbeing of children including, at times, being involved in court action.
Child Protection Caseworkers work to build strong relationships based on their understanding that families are complex and have their own individual stories to ensure the best outcomes for children.
It can be a confronting job. It’s not for everyone. The rewards however, can be limitless.
We're looking for bright, resilient and compassionate people – do you have what it takes?
